My undergraduate education was at Queens College. I received a doctorate in Psychology from Columbia and was licensed to practice psychology in 1974. I continued post-doctoral training at the Long Island Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis which was based at The Nassau County Medical Center. I opened my practice in 1976. I have taught advanced courses in psychotherapy to licensed mental health professionals at the Suffolk Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. From 2007 to 2010 I served as the Institute’s Executive Director.
I am a member of the American, New York State and the Suffolk County Psychological Associations. I am a fellow of The American Board of Examiners in Psychology (Psychoanalysis).
I enjoy spending time with my wife, sons, and grandchildren. I like to read, play tennis and paddle a kayak.
